Energetic Travel Manager Wanted: Lead our team and activities to new destinations!

Keolis is looking for an energetic TRAVEL MANAGER for our Brussels City Tour & Events Shuttle department to help us take our travel and event shuttle activities in Belgium to the next level! 

Your characteristics:

• Travel Manager: You are the conductor of our travel activities! You organize, develop and optimize everything related to travel. From daily operations to devising commercial strategies.
• Customer Service Specialist: Making customers happy is your second nature. You build strong relationships and ensure that everyone secures our services or goes on a trip with a smile.
• Partnerships Manager: You close the best deals and ensure profitable partnerships. Tenders, contracts, you handle them with ease!
• Team Inspirer: You create a positive and energetic work environment where everyone feels at home. You coach your team, set goals and ensure personal growth.
• Innovation Champion: Stagnation is regression! You are always looking for new opportunities and ways to do things better. 

Your focus areas? 

• Leadership: Daily management of the department consisting of 3 Travel Agents and 1 Event Manager. 
• Team: Coaching and developing the team. Applying HR processes. 
• Customers: Ensuring satisfied customers and strong relationships. Maintaining the relationship with our local guides. 
• Deals: Managing contracts and seizing new business opportunities. Assisting in setting financial targets and ensuring their follow-up. 
• Reporting: Monitoring KPIs and commercial activities and reporting to senior management. 
• Strategy: Developing and implementing commercial travel strategies to grow our business.
• Innovation: Seeking new services and improvements.

Profiel

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the tourism sector
• Excellent command of English, Dutch and French. Additional languages such as Spanish are a plus!
• A flexible attitude
• Superior organizational and leadership skills
• The ability to communicate, present and persuade at all levels
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
